A “Lunch & Learn” Water Quality webinar will be held by Zoom at Noon on Wednesday, August 10th. Lake Springfield Water Quality and Economics of Conservation Practices Meeting Recap

       Thank you all that were able to attend our meeting on December 8th and a special thanks to our presenters! We had a great turn out and were able to soak up some great knowledge from Dr. Gary Schnitkey, Dr. Andrew Margenot, and Dan Shaefer! We were also able to award Barb Mendenhall and Dick Lyons plaques for their many years of hard work and dedication to the Lake Springfield Watershed. Ball Chatham Prairie Restoration

The Sangamon County SWCD has partnered with Chatham School District, Pheasant Forever - Sangamon County Chapter, Naturkin Network, USFWS Partners Program, Illinois Department of Transportation, Illinois Clean Energy Foundation and Lincoln Memorial Garden on a Youth Pollinator Habitat Program on over 10 acres at Ball Elementary.
